We work to British Standards and take care to ensure every project is carried out in a proficient and professional manner.
Tree Removal
Our team is NPTC/LANTRA qualified to carefully remove trees regardless of size, situation or access. We normally use rope access systems however we are IPAF qualified in MEWP access and we can arrange traffic management, road closures and parking suspensions. We also deal with Councils for trees in Conservation Areas.
Stump Grinding
Tree stumps can be a trip hazard and can get in the way of building extensions, outbuildings, driveways, etc. Digging out even a small tree stump is extremely hard work! We offer a range of stump grinding options to safely remove stumps.
Tree Pruning
Our team is NPTC/LANTRA qualified to undertake all pruning operations including crown-lifting (e.g. above roads), crown-reduction (to reduce wind loadings and reducing back from buildings), crown thinning and removal of deadwood and unsafe branches. Tree reductions can be a good alternative to removing a tree that has outgrown its location.
Hedges
Hedge-trimming can be a difficult and time-consuming activity, particularly if you’re having to work at significant heights. Our team is IPAF qualified to use MEWPs (work platforms) and we have a number of hedge ladders and pole-based trimming equipment. Our team can perform regular maintenance for your hedges.
24hr Emergency work.
Hung up or fallen trees can be exposed to large tension and compression forces, they can present unexpected hazards to an untrained operative. We always advise you to seek professional help for fallen or wind-damaged trees on your property. We are just a phone call away and will try to respond quickly in an emergency to make your property safe.
Ash Dieback.
Ash dieback is a fungus that is devastating the European ash (Fraxinus excelsior) which has no natural defence against it. As the disease takes hold it causes branches to lose leaves and die off
The fungus then grows inside the tree, eventually blocking its water transport systems, causing it to die. The tree can fight back, but year-on-year infections will eventually kill it.
Contact us to discuss the best way forward for any ash trees on your property.
